It was reported that Chinese team was defeated by American team with the score of 79:88 in the last competition day of Four-nation Women’s Basketball Tournament handled out in Chenzhou city. The Chinese team finished with two wins and one defeat in this competition.

From the very beginning of this competition, Chinese team fought hardly again the American team. Many steals happened for Chinese team members’ errors, fortunately, not so much scores lost for the steals.

But the American team still was in a lead of 10:2 in the first quarter. Though Chinese team overtook it in the second quarter, it did not keep it for a long time and was finally defeated by the American team with the score of 79:88.

In Chendu stop competition which was held in last weekend, Chinese team won the American team with the score of 73:68.

Tom Mach- the Coach of China Women’s Basketball Team was disappointed for his team members behaviors in this game. As he mentioned, it was ok to lose the game, but it was not acceptable to be followed by the opponent’s pace in the game.

Though it was little regret that no three wins in this stop, Tom Mach was still confident for the girls. He stated that the result was not the exclusive aspect to judge the game, the girls were still with their shining points on this game. They behaved well on the rebounds though faced the American team who was with better physical fitness.

It was introduced that that was the final warm-up completion for China Women’s Basketball Team before they started their journey for Turkey Championship.
